Default Pet Smiter

I've gotten bored with a smiting monk, its energy management, long recharge times, and what not. I want to try smiting with a pet using ferocious strike as energy management for team/random arenas.

My Current Skill set is:
Res Sig
Charm Animal
Comfort Animal
Ferocious Strike
Balthazar's Aura
Scourge Healing
Symbol of Wrath (To keep warriors away)

And 1 other I forgot, I don't mind switching much but I would appreciate Balthazar's Aura and Ferocious Strike being the staple of damage and energy management.
My weapon is the 20/20 Smite staff.
Any help would be appreciated and if you need to ask questions to help me out please feel free.
Thanks, Rogmar.
